I haven’t let myself run out of them since: most often, I add them to soups, but they are also great in lots of dishes as a replacement for orzo. Little they may be, but they are also sturdy, and this makes them stand up well to other robust or chunky ingredients: if I have a very small amount of stew, say, left over in the fridge, not enough for a meal in itself, I heat it up, and cook these enchanting little shapes in the juice (adding some water if needed, and frozen petits pois if desired) to make for a wonderful, filling, and quick meal-in-a-bowl. I am completely charmed by them!"
